Geoffrey Elter

Geoffrey is responsible for the negotiation, documentation, structuring and management of all credit facilities and securitizations.  He is also responsible for cash management of the NXT Capital balance sheet and various off-balance sheet programs.

Geoffrey brings over 16 years of experience in middle market commercial finance.  Before joining NXT Capital in 2010 as a member of the Finance and Accounting team, he was an Assistant Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Merrill Lynch Capital.  During Geoffrey’s tenure at Merrill Lynch Capital, he was responsible for cash management and financial reporting.

Geoffrey graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S in Finance.

Linda Chaffin

Linda manages relationships with existing investors and cultivates relationships with prospective investors across the globe. In this role, Linda engages in product development, marketing strategy and developing the institutional investor experience, including company, fund/SMA program and market updates, due diligence and onboarding. Linda is also a registered representative of Lument Securities, an affiliated broker-dealer.

Linda brings over 20 years of private markets and investment banking experience to NXT Capital. Before joining the company in 2017, she was Senior Vice President for Pathway Capital Management where she was responsible for raising new capital and developing and maintaining investor relationships for both private equity and private debt strategies.

Linda’s prior experience includes roles with GE Capital, J.P. Morgan Chase’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group and the Huntington National Bank.

Linda earned a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Jennifer Cunningham

Jennifer is responsible for various investor solutions activities, with a particular focus on program management and compliance for NXT’s investor solutions team.

Jennifer brings over 15 years of experience in middle-market commercial finance. Before joining NXT Capital in 2015, she spent 7 years at GE Capital, holding positions in both Sponsor Finance and the Bank Loan Group. During her tenure at GE Capital, Jennifer was primarily focused on managing strategic investor programs, which were comprised of multiple separate accounts and CLOs.  Responsibilities included investor relationship management and overseeing program compliance and reporting.  Jennifer’s middle market lending experience also includes positions at Merrill Lynch Capital and Heller Financial where she held multiple roles across Corporate Finance and Operations.

Jennifer earned a B.A. in Communications from Illinois State University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University Chicago.

Amanda Ferguson

Amanda is responsible for various program activities including initial and ongoing investor due diligence and communication, as well as managing the deal pipeline, allocations, closings and deal modifications across NXT’s managed programs.

Amanda has 20 years of middle-market corporate finance, lending and capital markets experience. Prior to her current role, Amanda was a Vice President in Direct Lending focused on underwriting and portfolio management. Before joining NXT Capital in 2010, Amanda was a member of the Capital Markets Group at GE Antares Capital where she focused on structuring and syndication of middle-market investments and held a similar role prior to that at Merrill Lynch Capital. Before joining Merrill Lynch Capital in 2003, Amanda spent two years at Wachovia Securities, Inc. (formerly First Union Securities) as a Financial Analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group focused on origination, underwriting, syndication and ongoing portfolio management of middle-market structured finance products.  Amanda began her career with First Union Securities where she participated in a formal credit training program.

Amanda earned a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Kelli O’Connell

Kelli heads the Investor Solutions team, leading the development, implementation, and ongoing program management of private debt funds and separate accounts. She is also actively involved in raising third party capital developing new and maintaining existing investor relationships.

Kelli’s 30+ year career in middle-market commercial finance includes extensive asset management experience. Before joining NXT Capital in 2010, she was a Managing Director of 250 Capital (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Merrill Lynch & Co.). Prior to that, Kelli was a senior member at Merrill Lynch Capital with responsibility for new loan origination, as well as structuring, underwriting, closing and ongoing portfolio management of both middle-market and broadly syndicated loans.  Before joining Merrill Lynch Capital in 2002, Kelli spent 10 years at GE Capital/Heller Financial, Inc. She began her career with various consulting roles at Arthur Andersen & Co., TSC, Inc.

Kelli earned a B.S. in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
