David AllenManaging Director, Healthcare Dave has spent more than 17 years working with middle-market companies and private equity sponsors, the majority of it focused solely on heathcare. He was most recently a partner in an advisory firm that actively invested and managed the Oppenheimer Distressed Opportunities Fund, as well as a consultant to healthcare companies seeking capital and/or assistance managing their balance sheets. Previously, Dave was a Managing Director at Freeport Financial, a $1.5 billion provider of senior and subordinated debt, where he was responsible for all aspects of their healthcare business. He also held leadership positions in GE Capital’s Global Sponsor Finance Healthcare team and Heller Financial’s Corporate Finance Group. Dave began his career with biotech company Genentech, then served as a congressional staff member before becoming a finance professional. Dave earned B.A. degrees in Economics and History from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
