NXT Capital is an independent middle-market focused commercial finance company launched and led by former founders and executives of Merrill Lynch Capital and Heller Financial. We have brought together a leadership team that has worked together for more than 15 years, taking our collective experience to build another market leader in NXT Capital.

NXT provides a full range of structured financing solutions to the middle market and emerging growth companies through our Corporate Finance, Real Estate Finance and Venture Finance groups. We serve clients on a national basis, many of whom are repeat customers. We target senior financing opportunities of up to $150 million with a hold size up to $50 million, and also offer a full range of junior capital products. Since our launch, we have provided over $1.5 billion in financing commitments spread over 70 discrete transactions and have become one of the most active participants in our target markets. Our broad capabilities and experience make us solutions focused. We structure the right financing for you without ever squeezing you into a product because that is all we have to offer.

Management and NXT’s principal investors, Stone Point Capital (www.stonepoint.com), the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (www.otpp.com), and other institutional investors have committed approximately $850 million in equity to the business. Our institutional investors include Credit Suisse’s Customized Fund Investment Group, Oak Hill Investment Management, Teachers’ Retirement System of the State of Illinois, a subsidiary of PartnerRE Ltd. and others. We also have access to substantial additional capital from an expanding bank group and our asset management platform.
